It doesn’t matter where you start the only requirement is that you start. Follow our online tutorial and you will be on your way to performing 20 consecutive pull ups.

Can You Stand Up to this Feat?

If you can do 20 consecutive dead hang pull ups on the Stud Bar without stopping, you are in a rare group. The 20 pull ups challenge is perfect for the beginner or intermediate pull up bar user who will benefit from having a plan and goals to achieve.

Pull ups require almost every muscle group in your upper body from your fingers to shoulders, back and core. Pull ups are an all in one exercise. They give you the sculpted shoulders, back and abs.

Doing pull ups correctly on the Stud Bar is important. Grip the bar with your palms facing away from you. Your hands should be just wider than your shoulders.  Now hang…if you are a beginner, this is a great way to build up strength. Even if you can only hang for a few seconds, you are still building strength.

Negatives are the next movement to building up to your first pull up. Starting with your chin over the pull up bar slowly lower yourself downward.

Come down slowly, inhaling as you do. Keep yourself steady as you lower your body. Once you get to the bottom of the movement, repeat.

Take on the pull up challenge using your Stud Bar gym quality pull up bar.
